Skanem pioneered special packaging for laundry capsules in 2009, quickly becoming the market leader in Europe. We later set standards like Plus Safe and Round Safe, and developed customized products for brand owners.
Since 2005, we have been developing and manufacturing special packaging in our Bergen factory to some of the biggest brands and private label holders in Europe.
In 2016, we introduced the first products certified according to ISO 8317 and today we are in possession of several certified child safe products according to the relevant market standards. Our team are the inventors and design owners of items including Super Safe, Plus Safe, Round Safe, Standard Safe, and we were the first to implement anchor-hooks, hidden hooks and tub-frame extension for ultimate child safety. Today we have different sizes of all types raging from 10 up to 60 capsules content.
