Skanem is among the pioneers using IML-technology in our production. Today more than 80% of our production is with IML, and we are annually consuming several hundred million labels. We use Vision systems to determine quality of products, placment and correct labels.
We use several technologies in connection with the production of packaging with IML. Today we use all types of labels and can place them wherever decided in the R&D process.
We are manufacturing all types of packaging with IML (round, square, oval, etc) and we have no technology limitations. The biggest volumes we produce are for the european ice-cream industry as weell as for different types of diary products such as porridge, cheese and spread.
